Seeking a Service (HD) Mechanic to join the team based in Port Hedland.
FIFO 2:2 FIFO Perth to Port hedland, 12hr days
Rate: $90.00 per hour flat rate
Superannuation paid on 38 hours
The company has just opened a new depot based in Port Hedland. They already have well established operations in Perth, Kalgoorlie, and supporting mining sites for Rio, FMG and BHP in the Pilbara and Goldfields.
The company is a specialist energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond, their business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure.
Duties will include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of generators, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems, and conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on site and in the workshop.
Immediate start, ongoing work, casual to permanent role.
Requirements:
- Trade Certificate - LV, HV or HD.
- Min 3 years prior experience as a diesel mechanic in the power generation, mining or construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of generators.
- Unrestricted drivers licence
- Current Police Clearance
- Permanent Residency or Citizenship
