Labour Hire Mackay and the Bowen Basin
The Bowen Basin is the centre of Queensland's coal industry, and Mackay is the service city that keeps its mines, rail and coal terminals running. Mackay-based workers can drive in and out to the coalfields, while the city's workshops and maintenance yards keep fitters, boilermakers and electricians busy.
Short term cover helps when leave, injuries or a longer-than-planned shutdown leave holes in a roster. Project crews stay for the life of the job.

Bowen Basin Coal Labour Hire

Gladstone's three LNG plants on Curtis Island, its alumina refineries, the Boyne Island aluminium smelter and the port create steady shutdown and maintenance work for riggers, dogmen, crane operators and scaffolders.
Rockhampton is the base for central Queensland projects, from mine services to road and water infrastructure. For permanent roles in the region, from maintenance planners to site supervisors, our recruiters handle the whole search.
The gas for Gladstone's LNG plants comes from Surat Basin fields around Chinchilla, Miles and Roma, where operators, electricians, poly welders and maintenance crews are in demand, as they are on the Darling Downs wind and solar farms. Toowoomba is the regional hub.
