How we collect, use and look after your personal information

How We Handle Your Information

Wolfpack Hire is a trading name of Advance Green Pty Ltd (ABN 78 638 909 583). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we need it, who we share it with and how you can see or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who this policy covers

It covers businesses that ask us for workers or quotes, job seekers and the workers we place, referees, and anyone who visits wolfpackhire.com.

What we collect

Clients and enquiries: your name, company, phone number, email address, site location, the roles you need and anything else you tell us in a form, email or phone call.

Job seekers and workers: your contact details, resume, work history, trade papers, licences and tickets, proof of your right to work in Australia, and comments from your referees. If a role or site requires it, and only with your consent, we also collect the results of medical assessments, drug and alcohol screening or police checks.

Website visitors: the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your general location and how you move around the site. This is collected through cookies and similar tools, described below.

How we collect it

Mostly straight from you, through our website forms, email, phone and job boards such as Seek. We may also get information from referees you nominate, from clients you have worked for, and from screening or medical providers you have agreed to.

Why we use it

We use personal information to answer enquiries and prepare quotes, to find, assess and place workers, to check tickets, licences and references, to run pay, super, tax and insurance for the people we employ, to meet our legal and labour hire licensing obligations, and to improve our website and advertising.

Who we share it with

We share job seeker details with a client only when you are being put forward for a role with them. We may also share information with referees, screening and medical providers, insurers, payroll and super providers, government bodies such as the ATO and labour hire licensing regulators where the law requires it, and the IT providers that host our website, forms and email. We do not sell personal information.

Information that goes overseas

Some of the providers we use, including Wix, Google and Microsoft, may store information on servers outside Australia, such as in the United States. If you apply for a role with an overseas client, we will send your details to that client with your consent.

Cookies and website tools

Our website runs on Wix, which stores our form entries and gives us basic visitor statistics. We use the Google tag to see which of our Google ads lead to enquiries. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records clicks, scrolling and page visits as heatmaps and session replays so we can see where the site is hard to use. These tools use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. More detail is in the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Keeping it safe

We store information with established cloud providers and only give access to staff who need it for their work. When we no longer need information, and are not required to keep it by law, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to fix anything that is wrong. Contact us using the details below and we will usually respond within 30 days. If there is a lawful reason we cannot give you access, we will tell you why.

Marketing messages

If we send you updates about our services or available roles, you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
