Labour Hire That Fits Your Production Schedule
-
Urgent backfills: when someone calls in sick or leaves part-way through a run.
-
Peak demand: extra hands for big orders, a seasonal rush, then scale back down.
-
Ongoing labour: regulars who learn your machines, your products and your safety rules.
-
Temp to perm: 'Try before you buy' - work with someone first, then offer them a permanent role once you know they fit.
Screened, Inducted and Ready to Start
Every worker is checked before they set foot on your floor:
Pre-screening, reference checks and VEVO right-to-work checks
Trade qualifications and welding tickets verified
High Risk Work Licences checked, such as forklift (LF), bridge and gantry crane, and boom lift (WP)
PPE standards and fatigue management for shift work
Payroll, payroll tax, long service leave, insurances and award compliance handled by us
You stay involved: nobody starts on your floor until you've approved them

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you supply workers?
For most process worker, packer and forklift roles, we can usually have people on site within a couple of days. Tell us your start date and shift times, and we'll confirm availability on the first call.
How much does manufacturing labour hire cost?
Rates depend on the role, tickets, award, shift pattern and how long you need people for. We'll give you clear pricing upfront, so you know exactly what you're paying before anyone starts.
Can you cover night shifts and weekends?
Yes. Tell us your roster and we'll match people who are available for it, whether that's a regular night shift or just weekend overtime.
Do labour hire companies need a licence in WA?
Not currently. Western Australia doesn’t have a labour hire licensing scheme, although general workplace and employment laws still apply. Queensland and Victoria do, so if your site is in either state, check your provider is licensed there – ours are QLD LHL-08494-T0K1G and VIC VICLHL10377.
Who is responsible for safety on site?
Safety is shared. We screen workers, verify tickets and set PPE and fatigue standards. You provide the site induction, machine training and day-to-day supervision, and we stay in touch with you and our workers throughout the placement.
Can we keep a worker permanently?
Yes. Labour hire is a good way to try someone out before you hire them. Talk to your relationship manager about making a worker permanent; the terms are set out in your agreement.
