Electrical Labour Hire Questions

How much does it cost to hire an electrician through labour hire?

Each electrician is billed at an hourly charge rate. It's made up of their wage, the employer costs we carry (super, insurance and payroll tax among them) and our margin. What that rate comes to depends on the licence class, the award or enterprise agreement that applies, the roster and the location. You'll have the quote and T&Cs to look at before going ahead and there are no upfront costs, just the hourly charge when people are placed.

Can you supply electricians at short notice?

Often, yes. We return enquiries within 3 hours, 7 days a week. How quickly someone starts depends on the licences, inductions and medicals your site requires.

Can you provide high voltage electricians?

Yes. We can book one HV electrician for a substation or switchroom job, or several for a planned outage. Let us know the authorisations your site requires. Switching authorisations are normally issued by whoever runs the site or network, so we check which ones each candidate already has and which they'd need to complete on arrival.

Can you supply a whole electrical crew?

Yes. We can put together electricians, trade assistants and a leading hand for a project or shutdown, and bring the same people back for the next one when they're available.

Can we keep an electrician on permanently?

Yes. A labour hire electrician who suits your team can move onto your payroll under our transfer terms. If you'd rather start fresh, our recruiters can find a permanent electrician for you.

Which areas do you cover?

All of WA, Queensland, NSW, the NT, Victoria and Tasmania, from metro jobs to remote mine sites.

Need Electricians?
