Labourer Hire Questions

How is a hired labourer charged?

Each labourer has an hourly charge rate you approve before day one. It includes their pay at the rate your job requires, our costs as the employer (super, LSL, payroll tax, insurance) plus our margin. Trade assistants with specialist tickets sit higher than general labourers.

Can I book a labourer for one day?

We don't take single-shift bookings. Our labourers are booked for short term cover across several days or weeks, or for as long as your project runs.

Labourer or trade assistant: what's the right choice?

A labourer handles general site work such as cleaning, material handling and digging. A trade assistant works alongside one trade, fetching parts, preparing work areas and helping with tasks that don't need a licence. Tell us which trade they'll support and we'll match someone who has done it before.

Do your labourers hold a White Card?

Yes, for any construction work. Australian law requires general construction induction training before anyone works on a building site, and a card issued in one state is accepted in the others. We sight it, plus any site-specific tickets, before booking.

Can a labourer move onto our payroll?

Yes. If a labourer fits in well, you can hire them directly under the conversion terms we agree up front. Plenty of clients treat a labour hire booking as a trial before offering a permanent role.

Labourers go out to sites in WA, Queensland, Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and the NT, whether that's a city building site, a suburban warehouse, port infrastructure or a remote mine and its camp.
