Welder & Boilermaker Labour Hire

Boilermakers, Fabricators, Pipe and Poly Welders for Workshops, Sites and Shutdowns

Welding Trades Matched to Your Code and Your Job

Wolfpack Hire places boilermakers, fabricators, coded welders and poly welders with mine sites, fabrication workshops, builders and pipeline contractors. Book a welder for short term cover while someone's away, or a whole fabrication crew for a plant rebuild. Trade papers, weld qualifications and tickets are checked before anyone starts, and while they work for you, wages, super and compliance paperwork stay with us.

Welder and Boilermaker Labour Hire Questions

How is a labour hire welder charged?

By the hour. The rate covers the welder's pay under the award or agreement for your job, our employer costs such as wages, superannuation, payroll tax, LSL and insurance, and our margin. Coded and specialist welders cost more than general fabrication hands, and you'll have our quote to approve before anyone is sent out.

What's the difference between a boilermaker and a welder?

A boilermaker is a qualified fabrication tradesperson who reads drawings, cuts, shapes and fits steel as well as welding it. A welder may specialise in one process or code without holding the full trade. Tell us what the job involves and we'll suggest the right mix.

Do you supply coded welders?

Yes. Tell us the standard and process your work is built to and we'll put forward welders already qualified to it, with copies of their current qualification records.

Can you supply poly welders for remote sites and metro locations?

Yes. Our ticketed poly welders handle butt fusion and electrofusion work on mine sites, farms and town projects, on FIFO and DIDO rosters.

Can a welder stay on permanently?

Yes. If a welder suits your crew, our transfer terms explain how to put them on your own payroll. If you'd rather hire direct, ask our recruitment team to run the search.

Where do you supply welders?

We place welders and boilermakers in WA, Tasmania, Victoria, NSW, Queensland and NT, from city workshops to remote sites.

Can boilermakers join a shutdown crew?

Yes. Boilermakers and coded welders are often the busiest trades on a shutdown, whether it's a refinery in Kwinana, a mill in Kalgoorlie, port work in Port Hedland or a plant outage in Gladstone or Newcastle. Tell us the window and the scope, and we'll add them to a crew with fitters, riggers and labourers through our shutdown labour hire service.

Need Welders or Boilermakers?

Tell us the trade, the code or process, the headcount and your start date.
