Kalgoorlie-Boulder is about 600 km east of Perth, and direct flights take just over an hour. Some sites fly crews from Perth on 8/6, 2/1 or 3/1 swings, while others prefer people who live in Kalgoorlie or Kambalda and drive in each day. We staff to whichever model your site uses.

Gold carries most of the region's work, and the mills that process it need fitters, electricians and operators every week of the year.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder and Kambalda
The Super Pit's Fimiston mill expansion roughly doubles its capacity to about 27 million tonnes a year, with full ramp-up expected by mid-2029, and the operator expects mining there to continue past 2050.
South-east of Kambalda, the St Ives operation works several open pits alongside its underground mines, just south of Lake Lefroy.
We supply fitters, electricians, boilermakers and process plant operators for mill maintenance and shutdowns, plus operators and labourers for pit and civil work.
Leonora, Laverton and Leinster
Leonora and Laverton are home to several gold mills, and some are growing. Near Leonora, the King of the Hills plant is being upgraded to treat more than 7.5 million tonnes a year.
About 60 km north of Leinster, Kathleen Valley now mines lithium underground.

Gold Leads, but Not Alone
Strong gold prices have miners reopening old pits, extending underground workings and expanding their mills, and gold exploration spending across Australia reached a record high in the September 2025 quarter.
There is more than gold, too. A rare earths processing plant now operates on the edge of Kalgoorlie, and iron ore exports restarted through the Port of Esperance in December 2025.

Who looks after travel and accommodation?
Your site or travel team books flights and rooms. We give them what they need for each worker, then make sure every person knows their departure time, meeting point and first shift.
Which trades and roles do you cover?
Mechanical and HD fitters, electricians, welders, boilermakers, scaffolders and riggers, process and plant operators, underground operators, labourers and TAs, plus project supervisors.
How do you screen workers?
We confirm work rights, trade papers, HRW licences and references, and organise any medical or D&A screening your site asks for. Underground roles also get a check of the person's time below ground.
Can you crew a mill shutdown in Kalgoorlie or Leonora?
Yes. Share the scope, headcount and dates, and you'll hear back with names and availability. Shutdown dates often move, so we keep standby workers in mind and stay reachable every day.
Do you recruit permanent staff in Kalgoorlie?
